Formerly opened and managed by Rick, Southside quickly became a local favorite. Having recently found new ownership with the transition from Rick to Shaq, the commitment to fresh and tasty food continues.

Been here 10+ times. Everything I’ve had here has been terrific—even thru an ownership change. Highlights: all burgers (Cowboy, regular, black bean); pastrami; steak & cheese; Hummel’s hot dog; French fries—really well seasoned, among best in the area. Service is always friendly, too. Happy to give this deli my business

Great wings...get the sweet chili and blue cheese.
Pulled pork hot sammich is slamma jam
And the Stratton Mt Hot Sandwich.
Delicious dessert choices as well.

Was out for a drive through cheshire with the wife the other day and seen this little place that has hamburgers and allot of other great looking stuff. I tried a burger and it was perfect my wife had tyne chicken salad and she loved it. Definitely going back for a steak and cheese next time. I highly recommend I'm a picky eater so to my illness and don't eat out much but this place I will be going back. It was very delicious and the place was clean and service was great. Will see you soon. Thank you for everything.

Food was very fresh. Very delicious. Staff is incredibly friendly and establishment is extremely clean. They were also able to accommodate our gluten-free bun.

As a proud Philly girl, I must admit, the steak & cheese here is fantastic!! Tastes just like home. Every single sandwich I’ve ordered from Southside Grille is fresh & delicious. I am always greeted by a warm smile & incredible customer service. If I come once a week, I end up there four more times. Love it!

The steak and cheese is one of the best around trust me when I tell you. I’ve aten chopped cheese all over and hands down Top 5 of all time. But #1 in Cheshire , Ct for sure 👍🏼

Finally there's a solid sandwich shop close by. The chicken cutlets are bomb. Everything
I've tried has been good! Everything tastes fresh. Prices and portion sizes are great. Big ups to the newer owner labi on acquiring this place good choice! We went to highschool together! He's a hard working good guy.

Cool spot! We got a buffalo chicken wrap and a hot dog with fries and everything was great! The food was nice and fresh and the service was equally great! Outdoor seating available with good relaxing music playing. All around a nice experience.

We went there for the first time a few days ago and I loved it! The service was so fast, we ordered under a couple of minutes, we sat on the beautiful patio and by the time we were situated, our food started getting served, which we really appreciated since we had hungry kiddos on the table. The food was delicious. The chicken on my wrap was the softest chicken I've had in a wrap. I will definitely go again!

This is not your "I came to be wowed by your decor" place. But they will wow you where it counts. New spot just recently opened and they're packing a punch.
I was undecided what to order until I saw pastrami on the menu. I haven't had a great pastrami in a long time - and the young lady at the counter swore by it.
Ok fine... I ordered it and the clam chowder and nephew got the chicken cutlet BLT.
The pastrami was very good, juicy and well cured. It did have a tad more salt my palate cares for but the Russian dressing calmed the taste buds. The clam chowder was very good as well but did have more potato bits than I'm used to. The clam chowder was warm at best - it was cold outside so a nice hot temperature clam chowder would've done nicely. But the flavors were there nonetheless.
Nephew's chicken cutlet BLT promises was very good - he can eat and knows food. He makes it a priority to find me places I would enjoy... Thanks pa! 😁
